To Be Disturbed, 2025
This work explores the concept of ephemerality and temporariness. The work was only on display for approximately 2 hours, and viewers were invited to touch, walk on, or otherwise disturb the “rug” as they pleased.

To Be Disturbed, 2025, dyed epsom salts

To Be Disturbed took approximately 5 hours to set up, with three colors of dyed epsom salts being poured into a template and smoothed with a paintbrush to create a defined pattern on the floor. Over 12 hours total were spent on creating the work, including the dying, drying, and laying out of the salts.

Viewers were given 15 minutes to touch and disturb the work, leaving what is seen above. Afterwards, the salts were swept up and disposed of, finalizing the ephemerality of the work.
